About

Welcome, I’m Laura, and I offer counselling in Bedford for adults, families, couples and young people. My aim is to help you feel more content  and at ease in your life.

I offer long and short term therapy depending on what you would like to get out of our sessions.

Either way, private counselling offers flexibility by working on what you bring in your own time and at your own pace.

With 22 years-experience working in the field, I offer the space and time to allow us to work through what is worrying you.

Take some time out, grab a coffee and take a read through some of my blogs. Regularly updated with a mixture for adults and young people!

Self-isolation: an opportunity for renewal

As we enter our third week of lockdown, we settle into our new ‘normal’. The realisation that we may be in this situation for weeks, maybe months, has hit home. Self-isolation may be protecting our physical health but what about managing our mental health....

Frequently asked questions

Coming to counselling can be a nerve- wracking experience:

  • What can I expect?
  • I don’t think I can open up to a stranger.
  • How does couple counselling work?
  • What happens if you are seeing my child?
  • This is going to be expensive!
  • Can I trust this woman!?

Its understandable to have lots of questions as it is a big decision to make.  I get it.
